We have been accredited by the University of Girona in co-operation with the Catalunya Tourist Board as specialists in Catalunya of which the Costa Brava is the eastern coastal region.

We are a small, friendly,  independent company and we specialise in holiday accommodation. Years of experience in the Costa Brava has given us a fund of local knowledge that we are keen to share with our clients. We believe that the best way to discover a region is to see for yourself, however it does help to receive some basic information before you start looking!

Who are our clients?

• Independent travellers who want to utilise the internet to arrange their own flights and accommodation.
• Families looking for holidays at competitive prices knowing that our prices are for the accommodation not for the number of people staying in it. We don't have under-occupancy charges.
• Golfers - individuals or groups. Our accommodation is close to some of the best golf courses in Spain and we can offer discounted green fees.
• People who want to watch some of the major sporting events hosted in Catalunya. The Circuit de Catalunya is within easy reach for Grand Prix fans and GT motorbike fans alike.
• People who want to talk to somebody who knows about the properties offered for rental. We know our accommodation and the region well and are happy to discuss your requirements.

We created CostaBravaplus.com to provide accommodation in this beautiful region of Spain. The diversity of cultural, historical, sporting and gastronomic attractions offers holiday opportunities not to be missed!

The Accommodation

We collaborate with carefully selected agencies or with private owners to offer a range of properties. Our portfolio of  properties is frequently updated.

 We have visited each of the properties displayed in the Costa Brava,  and photographed them but the pictures featured on the website are only part of the photo library we have on each property. If you want more pictures - we'll email or post them to you.

Where an apartment is one of several managed or owned we have tried to show an exemplar apartment of each size. For example, the Sa Guilla 2 complex in Platja de Pals, Costa Brava has 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments. We don't show every apartment of each size but we may feature different but same size apartments if the layout or fixtures and fittings are significantly different.

When you contact us we will try to match up your requirements with our knowledge of our properties conscious that your holiday is very important to you.

Accommodation details:

Each Costa Brava property featured on the website has been visited by us and if it is one of several apartments offered in a complex we feature one or two example properties. If privately owned there may be a difference in furnishings and facilities but our selected agency properties offer a uniform standard.

What's included?: In most of our properties local taxes,  linen and towels( but not beach towels) and end of stay cleaning are included in the price. Sheets and towels are changed once each week. If more are required a charge will be made for them. In some of our properties sheets, towels and cleaning are charged separately and are paid for locally on arrival.

Is there anything extra to pay for?

Sometimes yes.  If you need a cot or high chair there is a charge raised locally. If you stay in low season and need heating a small charge will be raised to cover the cost of extra electricity usage if oil radiators are borrowed. You don't pay for the hire of the heaters though! If you request secure, underground parking at specific apartments you will be charged a small daily fee which is payable locally.

Security deposit:   A  refundable security deposit is required in all of our accommodation. This is usually 100/150 euros or sterling equivalent depending on the property. Please check at time of booking.

Information provided by us:  When you book we send you pre-holiday information with details of useful websites and pictures of places you might want to visit.  Nearer to the time of departure we also send you a CD ROM which contains detailed driving directions to your accommodation, area maps and local area information which we hope you will find useful.  The local area information is based on our knowledge of the area and useful tips provided by previous clients. These include restaurant information, fun places to take the children, places of interest and recommended shops, bars local beaches ,boat trips etc.

We are fortunate that clients visiting Catalunya and particularly the Costa Brava realise that there is too much to see and do on one visit. As a result we have a substantial amount of returning clients and much of our advertising is "word of mouth"  recommendation.

Ask about our file of emails and letters with complimentary remarks about our service.

We're not perfect but we do listen and can make changes on the recommendation of previous clients.  If we get it wrong - we try hard to make it better!

Contacting us:

When you’ve sent an email you can expect to hear back from us within 24 hrs or you can call us 7 days a week. If our office is unmanned you can leave a message as  messages and emails are checked regularly out of normal office hours.

Property Sales

If you are interested in buying property in the region we can offer advice and recommend agencies who will be able to help you.

PROPERTY ADVERTISING:

If you have a property which you like us to advertise on our website we have 2 options available.

Option 1:

We feature your property and  liaise with you to answer enquiries  and make reservations. We charge a small commission on each booking we make.

Option 2:

We feature your property with up to 10 pictures and comprehensive details and direct all enquiries to you so that you deal with potential clients direct. We charge a small annual fee for this service which includes setting up the webpages and creating the graphics for you.
