L’Estartit is the eastern point of the Montgri Massif rock outcrop which submerges to rise again as the Medes Islands -  now an important marine conservation area.

L’Estartit has a  beautiful marina at the north end of the long, sandy beach which stretches several kilometres south towards Platja de Pals.This gently sloping beach provides an ideal location for children and adults to swim in safety with a magnificent view of the Medes Islands as a bonus.

The harbour front has a good selection of restaurants, tapas bars and shops and the tiled promenade is the place to stroll in the evening to walk off that meal or build up an appetite!

From the harbour you can walk down the long shopping street to the church square with  more shops, restaurants and bars and, during the main season, the location for evening entertainments in the square.

The combination of beach, marina and local amenities make this a great location for families with everything within easy walking distance.
