Villa Calsina (lower), Platja de Pals

Villa Calsina is split into 2 apartments, one the lower half of the villa and the other the upper level. The villa is in a residential location opposite a pinewood. There are neighbouring properties but none opposite.

This apartment has 2 bedrooms.

The property has a "traditional" feel with an enormous, arched patio area with wooden table and benches (see picture). It shares a swimming pool with a small number of other properties we advertise along this road. The pool is about 150 metres away, secluded and surrounded by lawn. The apartment is only 300m from the beach and along the road to the beach there are a variety of shops, bars and restaurants.

The accommodation consists of 2 twin bedrooms, lounge/dining area, small kitchen with dark wood units, bathroom, very large, covered patio and car parking. There is a small play area in the garden with a child's swing. The apartment is tiled throughout and features mainly dark pine furniture. The kitchen is small but has a gas hob, microwave and fridge. There is quite a substantial area of worktops and dark pine units for storage. The washing machine is located in an alcove in the covered patio area and is shared with the occupants of the top storey apartment.

 

Club de Golf Pals is nearby with Serres de Pals Golf Course and Emporda Golf only a short drive away. We are able to offer reduced rate green fees at most of the golf courses in the area. Pals beach offers miles of sandy beach and also facilities for the more active holidaymaker. Sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and kayaking are all available. L'Estartit offers a choice of dive schools to experience the delights of the Medes Islands. These islands form the heart of the conservation area which protects the sea life. The medieval village of Pals is approximately 5km away. This village has been comprehensively restored and sits on a hilltop overlooking the area. The village has several very good restaurants and ceramic shops offering traditional and modern pottery. La Bisbal is the regional capital and is a major ceramic producing area. The area has many places of interest, historical, cultural and commercial. Sports are well catered for with 3 golf courses nearby, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, diving and flights in microlight aircraft all within a short distance. There is a large aquapark further down the coast and glass bottomed boats and sea trips in L'Estartit. Retail therapy can be achieved through the local ceramic ware, jewellery and local markets. For serious shoppers a trip to Playa D'Aro for fashion and leather goods or better still a trip to Barcelona beckons. This can be combined with a visit to all the sights Barcelona has on offer including a must for football fans to see Nou Camp, Barcelona's famous stadium. We recommend visiting Barcelona by train from Flaca station which is a short drive away. A return ticket on the air-conditioned Catalunya Express  to Passeig de Gracia ( a short walk from  Placa de Catalunya) cost 14.00 euros in 2008.

Payment can be made in euros or pounds sterling. Payments in sterling may be subject to surcharge due to change in the exchange rate.

Prices shown are for one week self-catering and include linen and towels. These are apartment prices and not per person. Please note there is a refundable deposit of 150€ at time of key collection.
