Villa Oro is situated in the Torre Gran residential area just outside L'Estartit. The villa has a good size swimming pool and even has a purpose built tree house for the adventurous! We believe that this villa offers ideal accommodation for a larger group or 2 to 3 families wanting to holiday together.

The villa has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and sleeps up to 14 people if the sofa bed in the study is utilised. The living room leads to the games room for tabletennis table and darts. There is a very large, fully equipped kitchen with a separate dining room leading out to an extensive patio area next to the private pool.

Outside Description

Unusually this villa has a substantial, purpose-built, tree house within the grounds and also benefits from a secluded stone table and seating group below a fig tree in the garden.

Local Area Details

The Medes Islands Marine Reserve is off the coast by L'Estartit. This is one of the conservation areas which have excellent facilities for diving, snorkelling and boat enthusiasts. Use of this area is strictly controlled. Boat owners can only moor in designated areas and dropping anchor is forbidden. There are many diving centres on the Costa Brava catering for absolute beginners and experienced sport divers. L"Estartit"s magnificent golden sandy beach stretches 5 kms along the coast to Platja de Pals and is separted in the middle by the River Ter. The beach shelves gently into the sea making it an ideal choice for families and the size of the beach means even in high season it does not become over crowded!! The resort itself has a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and entertainments to suit all ages and tastes. For a more traditional Catalan feel the church square down to the harbour offers a variety of bars & restaurants offering local cuisine and tapas. With many many festivals held throughout the year in Catalunya you will find the local dance of the "Sardanes" a regular feature in the church square. Firework displays, parades, live music and much more are also regular features throughout the summer calendar.
